The days of hot wiring vehicles have long gone ,,now they have to get the keys or the keyless entry signal to move them .
Been a spate of high end 4x4s and sports cars pinched up here by breaking in for the keys or worse by forcing drivers out of the vehicles and leaving them standing at the road side .

I don't mean to be pessimistic here, but they will be back. Based on how they have been around here, they keep coming back and the victim gradually improves security until it finally gets too difficult and they move on to the next one. Try to get ahead of them, loud noise makers and locked metal gates that can't be lifted off.

They know exactly what you've got. I can't find my pickup keys most of the time, but they can break in at the dead of night and get them without me noticing!
