I don't mean to be pessimistic here, but they will be back. Based on how they have been around here, they keep coming back and the victim gradually improves security until it finally gets too difficult and they move on to the next one. Try to get ahead of them, loud noise makers and locked metal gates that can't be lifted off.

try a 12 bore. That normally gets the attention especially if you get to aim it. 👍

Cue another joke sentence !
Well you won't believe this ......
The character arrested for the theft of my pickup and the tools was due in court .
The police put a lot of work into this case and collected plenty of evidence. (See earlier posts)
4 pm on the day before court the prosecution dropped all charges despite this being his second court appearance!!

FFS, if you were to intentionally refer to the ‘accused’ by the wrong gender pronoun, I’m sure the CPS wouldn’t borx up that prosecution 🤬

As Hfd Cattle says it is a complete joke - the thieving scrote stole my neighbours 2 quad bikes , always poaching and the police had him bang to rights yet he walks away again ! He will meet his Waterloo one day but he and his cronies are nasty pieces of work and someone will get hurt one day . We had a rural crimes officer for a short while doing a good job and set up a whatsap group but her crappy boss stopped it all - just doesnt take rural crime seriously .

The country seems to be becoming lawless, the number of young people stabbed to death is terrible, and the police seem far more interested in offensive "tweets" or alleged child abuse years ago by celebrities. I think we need, not crime commissioners but each area to vote for the chief constable in their area, maybe then, the chief constables would align their priorities with the local population.

Very frustrating, it must feel like you gave been robbed all over again.
I reckon there is an agenda behind this, the Govt are actively trying to foment a rural insurrection, so that they can lock us all away and get rewilding for free.

Interestingly I have tried to get some sort of report in national newspaper/ press including the farming press ....not so much about my situation but about how the whole scenario is beyond a joke .....no-one will take it up leaving me to believe there is an agenda here .
Going back to my situation they had him hook line and sinker ....and he gets away with it....he has been arrested twice since my theft for others !!!

Nobody dare touch it, a whole thing on Jeremy Vine yesterday about dog theft.
The nearest they got was, one dog was found "under a caravan"

Go your own social media route - name and shame the legal department in question, the newspapers etc who couldn't care less and the rest of it - every other fuknugget does it and gets many followers (and money too if enough followers) - so why not use it to highlight your cause.

Thats the answer right there: he's a police informant.

Spread the word about in the right ears that he's a 'grass', and he'll literally disappear...
