It's just a n idea to get some concentrate into the cows without having to use a mixer wagon. Might never do it again if we don't like the idea

Do we think clamping brewers grains now, then moving them to go under the maize in the autumn would work? Or would it go off the second time?

those Brewers grains look very dry. You mixed anything in to soak up the liquor?
No that’s just how they come, from brewery at burton. Done same again this year they do ‘slouch’ a bit as you push them up as in they come towards you. 7 panels long so 105ft holds 250 ton just but that’s the max height you can get them too else they just keep moving towards you if that makes sense

I have just pitted some grains. Normally mix a load of wheat feed or soya hulls with it do dry it up so we can stack it higher in the pit.
Quoted over £300/t for both for something we won't start feeding till late September so just pitted less straight grains.
