Currently with EE but need to swap phones and wonder what other providers are like?

EE coverage is OK around the farm generally but hopeless in my office. Whilst the office is upstairs in is an old farmhouse with foot thick stone walls built around 1830.

I believe Virgin uses the EE network.

Looking at the O2 coverage map it looks slightly better than EE.

Who are the best to deal with, anyone else to consider?

Do you have Wifi in the office ? EE have a Wifi calling.option In the absence of a mobile signal the call will connect through the WiFi
Maybe the best option if the mobile signal is good elsewhere

Yes I do use WiFi calling but broad band to the farm is not brilliant and calls do drop out all the time which is annoying.

personally I’ve found o2 much worse than ee in both coverage and customer services, just gone three days without signal last week and they didn’t know how to sort it. If I was you I would stick with EE as long as it works ?

I'm on sim only with bt mobile unlimited calls and texts 50 GB data £15 month also have a smarty sim unlimited everything for 17.50 month used at an out farm as only service I can get there but crap everywhere else as runs on 3 mobile

hi im on Vodafone 11gb unlimited calls text £11 month
Makes me smile on how the deals can differ from the same company. I'm with Vodafone, just sorted out a new deal as a sim only this time and was looking at unlimited data packages. When you look at the small print it can be capped at 25Gb and depending on how much you want to spend they also restrict the speed that the data is provided at.
I went for a set limit of 20Gb, that is provided at the speed that is available at the time, is cheaper than an unlimited package and as a bonus they doubled the data so I have unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 40Gb of data for £17.50 per month

Very cheap communication! Looking on the website the standard price is £18/month for that.

1- Virgin have given notice to EE, and will be a switching to the Vodafone network in late 2021.
https://www.which.co.uk/news/2019/1...one-mobile-network-what-does-it-mean-for-you/

2- @Steevo Vodafone will discount prices, but only if you go through the play acting routine of threatening to move. The call centre staff will play along and know the script, but you have to do this to be 'elevated' to the retentions team who are authorised to offer up to 25% discount to business account renewals.
For example, when I renewed the work contracts last November the 'Red' 20Gb data package with unlimited calls and texts should have cost £16.66 exc vat for each phone (£20.00 inc). The discount brought them down to £12.49 plus vat (£15.00 inclusive) which is a bit nearer to @Farma Parma's Three 30GB deal (no Three signal here).

3- O2 and Vodafone share the same network, Vodafone supposedly offer better business contracts.

I had a yarn with BT yesterday about simm only deals.
To temp two of us from EE they offer us, 1g data, unlimited calls and texts, both simms for £14/ month total. One simm has to be on annual contract, other on rolling monthly. I know EE is part of BT but you still have to have your existing number ported over which could take a couple of days for some reason........
