some like the rappa one,........i dont
scotpen hurdles are higher, you snag rubbish all day getting over hurdles and they are heavier

The general consensus is Rappa. Based on the old Prattleys but with big improvements, and road legal in the UK which the prattley is not.
The Scotpen is gaining popularity for having higher sides and not as long as a wait for delivery compared to a Rappa.

The Alligator, I can’t remember, the IAE mobile setup has a few users on here and they weren’t impressed with the IAE but they were new models so upgrades had been fitted/rectified.

The hurdle height was what we been looking at do you get many jump over ur hurdles does it take you long to set up

just only 1 sheep last year at shearing prattley coming up 9 years old

How do you guys dose lambs in these mobile yards?? I like a 2.5'-3' race 20'+ long, no impressed with the idea of doing it in the shedding race

get a batch in v bit then draw 3 , 4 ewes off so fills the front,....... then a batch of lambs ,.keep putting the little gates in every 8f

Sold. But was awsome. Hold 2000 hogs in the middle of a paddock. A better bit of kit would be hard to find when handling sheep.

Im a big believer in buying the right piece of equipment where ever in the world it's made.
But to buy a prattley when there is a better and cheaper brittish made yard, well you'd have to be a.......prat.

Set up a race with these, tbh if I'm just drenching a smaller lot I don't even bother to drop the trailer down.

I wish i’d Bought it now 27minutes to run 33ewes and 64lambs 800metres up the lane yesterday

Ditto,rappa’s better than nothing but the Prattley is much better

Most folk go through the gate unless(to quote) you enjoy snagging rubbish all day

None of the yards seem to come standard with them. Need extra gates, spreaders and sheeted hurdles - fairly adds to the price
