Just plug the laptop in and it'll tell you what the problem is, or just ask the "operating system".</p><p></p><p>What on earth are they talking about with the right of repair act from 2012 that "opened the floodgates"? Independent mechanics have been working on vehicles packed with "chips" for decades.
