Anyone deal with them? Bought an item on 23rd March, email confirmed despatch but courier now says never received it although their tracking system gave 2 delivery dates.
Meanwhile Mole Valley not responding to emails from last week and nobody available to answer the phone today.

I have a couple of times and they've been okay (at least better than local store, but the bar hasn't been set very high). Keep trying on the phone, they do answer eventually.

Unless you have a good relationship with a MVF Farm Sales advisor dealing with them now is second only to dealing with British Telecom 👎
MVF have become my source for supplies of last resort now. Such a shame but they are no more than a faceless supermarket in most cases, the only exception being some of the long serving staff who still hold traditional customer service values.

Bought fair bit of stuff off them, and Fane valley stores over last 2/3 years and always had good service from both

Luckily they still have a gem in the ranks. 😜👌

I see they have a turnover of £400m + and 2100 employees. Thought one might answer the phone. They have unprecedented (that word again) demand at present which is probably because I am phoning and emailing them. Strange thing is that the item was 'despatched' a day later but the courier says they never received it.
Not life or death but a pain in lambing/calving time

As the saying goes,
"How many work at xxxxxxx?"

"About half of them"

I've been in a similar situation. I have been waiting two weeks for a water trough to deliver. I was chasing them up all last week with no answer. Finally got to the route of the problem, it was booked out to be delivered to me, but they sold it to someone else by accident!! Absolutely discusded with their service. I ordered some medicine with another company last week and I've just ordered a water trough from another firm. They have been overwhelmed with orders for the last two weeks.

store used to be good here as others have said definitely gone down hill, (the amount of farm reps over the last few years i cant count?) although luckily as said above ive found some one decent to deal with there again which has helped,

online in the past been ok but to be fair again as above fane valley usually cheaper and better.

AP supplies in driffield super cheap (someone on here recommended them) but not online, well catalogue is, you have to ring orders in but well worth it as savings for stuff i wanted easily made up for it!

A once great idea and firm have gone the way of too many businesses, got far too big and forgot why they were started, prices nowhere near as competitive as they were although maybe that's because others have become cheaper, no longer buy my fuel.as direct is now always cheaper.
Did get a good deal on some timber last week though.

Unopposed election process as well.
No way for its shareholders to have ANY say on who sits on the board!

Wanted some plumbing bits from frome a couple of years ago, they were out of stock so bought them online from someone else, after at least two months they were still out of stock at mole, the excuse was they needed a minimum order to restock before manufacturer would deliver, I said I can buy it via the net and get it delivered next day why cant you.
Will go the same way as countrywide

Bought last lot in bulk from local firm.

Quantity discount way out beat MVF.

Bale wrap was on the mark this year from MVF though.
And back up on net issues was spot on tbf.

Have found their delivery service spot on the past year for the odd bits and pieces nothing large. Whoever packs their deliveries must need a bit of training though every order the first lot is crushed beyond recognition but credit to them they always sort it straight away and another slightly better package is delivered a few days later
