Monday's Summary: Gales in the SW rain or snow in the east
Monday will a very windy day with gales continuing in the South and West. Most will see lot sunshine while Eastern England and Scotland will be cloudier with some light rain and snow. Despite the sunshine it will still feel cold, especially in the gale force winds.
As we look further ahead to the rest of the week temperatures will slowly be rising up to or a little above the norm for mid-February, so a taste of spring, but long range forecasting models are suggesting another cold snap at the end of the month, of course we at metjeffuk will keep you posted.
