Moore direct drill

Going to look at a Moore drill so we can do some grass seed slotting-what would be the diameter when new of the disc

Liked the look of the Moore uni drill @ LAMMA

When I changed ours, they were about 16".

That was a quick turnaround. You were off to buy a Moore last night.

Yesterday went to have a look at a moore it was ok old but good- saw a erth 3 point linkage newer more what we really wanted

Purists would say the Moore runs best trailed with the long drawbar. The line of draft helps pull it into the ground. You can tip it onto its nose, essentially, and really cut it in in hard going. You lose that with close coupled three point linkage maybe? Harry Ferguson has a lot to answer for.

That’s right our old Moore could drill concrete new mounted machine struggles in the dry but does have a lot nearer disc spacings
