Unbelievably dry isn’t it. Although we had a whole 7mm yesterday! First significant rain in 3 months here. Do you put the the mixed results down to the weather or the drill?

Anyone know of a 3m Moore for sale? Dp300 with the front press wheels? New starter to no till here up in Lancashire.

I have a 3 m versadrill that I may consider selling as looking for a wider one. We use it as a uni drill without the legs in or if you want to do some loosening , put the legs in. Leading discs a for low disturbance. Stocks wizard will slug slug pellets / small seeds / avadex. Less than 1000ha. Used it for mainly grass reseeding and a bit of arable. Very accurate.

Mostly the weather. Worked brilliantly last year, a perfect year for crops. We can get nearly every seed to grow, but without access to water they struggle. Ground that was ploughed last autumn then not drilled ‘til spring looks better than DD now?. Spring barley

Hi. I have a Moore Unidrill 3m which I've had since new. Approx 16 years old. Has been maintained through out its life. Probably the tidiest drill of that age. Thinking of selling it as farming with a neighbour now. Hydraulic depth control etc. Anyone interested give me a shout and think of a sensible offer.
N.Yorks.
