Just put a new radiator in the 550 and I've a leaking pipe at the back of the engine that doesn't go anywhere. Also a black hydraulic pipe coming from the dash that doesn't go anywhere.

Thanks

Edit - tried to post a picture but can't get it to load

Pipe on the left leaks water and goes nowhere. Black pipe resting on tool box comes from inside the dash and goes nowhere.

Thanks

Yes heater pipes. There should be 2 from the engine going to 2 fittings on the bulkhead. They may have been disconnected because there is a leak in the cab. Connect them up again with 2 New bits of 1/2" heater hose. If it doesn't leak you have a result. If it does just connect the 2 engine fittings together to make a loop

Our heater was disconnected on this 550 we are doing
Pressured it with hose pipe luckily it was the pipe from the heater temp valve to the matrix rad new pipe and new clips saved headache,

Can get you a picture if you want as ours is out and cab dismantled

Right not really a problem as such but I'm just wondering what the two tabs below the bonnet are for at the front?

Also I've got headlights wired up and they work but are on full beam is that a new light switch required then?

Thanks

Are your lights on full beam regardless of light switch position? (ie no side light only) which bit have you re-wired?

No the sidelights do come on their own but the rest of the positions it seems to be full beam. Haven't re wired just re connected the wire to the new lights. Had to join a couple of wires together but that was obvious which ones to join because of the colours

I don't think i tried changing the wires on the back of the lights though maybe I've one on the wrong terminal

They are to bolt the bonnet to the silver nose bit , your bonnet is not fitting properly by looking at it

Double check your light connections, i think you may have reversed earth and positive;

They can vary;

Yes them tabs locate through the front rubber surround
The side panels effectively hold the biometric on at the front,
The head light wires are yellow and green to the front lights

They earth in the front by the battery
Im guessing it's possible an earthing issue or terminals wrong way around in bulbs

Fully beam headlights are next to the sidelights as you turn the switch, if I remember correctly?
If you have the wires mixed up both filaments might well be ON at the same time, leaving you with no "dip" ?

Maybe, I forget but some were side, main beam, then dip.
So when you meet someone on the road, you couldn't turn the lights off by mistake.
