I think its only the product that comes out of the back-end of a horse to be found in Quorn.....

in the report in the grocer it says they knew and rejected the meat so how did they not start testing all suppliers

traceability should be about making sure a supplier meets the specification and sticks to it by regular checks

The simple test of comparison of ingredient cost on the world market against the cost of the finished product to the retailer must have thrown up concerns in the Supermarkets buyers offices so why didn't they do anything about it?
Or more likely they knew all along and did nothing about it for fear of damaging their margins.
