Isn't the local market just another percentage to be taken off the farmer ,
The day of the "country bumpkin" surviving on business in anything but times of increasing land values is all but gone ,

Farmers must in my opinion supply what the housewife wants with as few middle men as possible

They used to buy in our local market until they opend a collection center and tried to kill the local market, dont be fooled they are hard nosed business dealing with country bumpkins the bumpkins wont win.
