Second sound like better value to me.

It didn't work as well as luximor here as a pre em on Rye grass.
Going Luximor and Stomp on problem fields this year.

The luximo worked well here last year, a trials company had a plot in one of our dirtier fields, all round it was clean, whereas their plot had a basic liberator pre-em, had so much blackgrass they roundupped it once they had their broadleaf weed data.

I’ve seen enough independant data to put me onto Luximo as the pre em.
You can then follow up a week or two later with a full rate of generic flufenacet aswell which is v cheap.

I have a question concerning modes of action. I have always tried to mix up our chemistry by herbicide groups and have to admit I have not really looked beyond the HRAC code.

Flufenacet used to be code F3 and Prosulfocarb code N so in the past I thought mixing them was good practice I now notice they are both group 15 in the new system so from a resistance point of view would I be better mixing one or other with something else rather than mixing them as a solo application? They just happen to be the two chemicals I find best at tackling man eating ryegrass (we don't have much blackgrass).
