Saw this pic.twitter.com/AUrqSWYWbZ at the Sima show the other week, the small black box bolts on the implement and the ipad just connects to it wirelessly. Talking to the chap on the stand they were testing a version that isobus implements plugged into, then wireless to the ipad. So could be released very soon.

Well about bloody time to. I've been saying for a long while that a cheap laptop with the right software would do the job of all these fancy expensive controllers. With a tablet even better. The thing with an ISO display is that its only an interface for the operator to see and control the actual brains that resides on a job computer hid away else where on the machine.
Where all being ripped off with all this expensive kit when weve already got the technology in our pockets.

We looked into it as it looked like we would need it for a new fert spreader and I can't help but think the technology has a long way to go.

But this on the other hand has to be the best idea yet:

Please let this happen soon. I don't care if an ipad is not as reliable as a purpose made controller, although it probably would be. The fact that they are so universal means you could soon get hold of a replacement. Apple shops are open seven days a week and the odds are you would have a spare one at home.

I know that Bateman sprayers sometimes come out with agleader displays.
I was wondering if they have much of a market share in the UK.

I have an agleader 800 running my spray truck. The next truck will have a 1200 display. The new rig will be isobus everything off the monitor. Boom height/fold, section control and a weather station doing live data logging.
