Have these guys figured out the most expensive way to make corn silage on a relatively large scale? Look at the amount of machinery!
Good postHave these guys figured out the most expensive way to make corn silage on a relatively large scale? Look at the amount of machinery!
Bar axles set up normally with twin wheels on.Whats with the wheels and tyres
The bottom of the plant requires more energy to digest than a cow can derive from it. Best left in the field esp with a 32t/ac cropTo be fair they were doing headlands and blowing holes, probably be waiting for trailers when they get going especially if they're bagging it.
Be nice if they would cut it off at the bottom though
I've tipped a lot of stuff into the bagger and it's fine if it's chopped into sawdust and dry it can fairly take it in but doesn't like wet stuff !!I'd like to see a bit more of the ag-bagger. My silage contractor puts a few jobs into 1, sometimes 2, but the (single) chopper driver reports a requirement for a good newspaper supply to fill the gaps.
