In fairness, I am really pleased for Exmoor Dave because having lived in Exmoor myself I know it is highly likely he has basically no neighbours or close acquaintances. I suspect that apart from the postman and that ministry guy who does the annual anthrax area survey he wouldn't see many folk at all. How the heck he even manages to access the internet is a mystery to me since I had zero phone signal in the place and electricity hadn't been invented when I was there about 2008-2011 or so. I bet he has to travel down the road to Bampton and use an internet cafe or otherwise send Yahoo messages by carrier pigeon.
