Move 6r throttle to left side

I have moved from a right hand cut hedge cutter to a left hand cut, I have always used pedal mode on the hedge cutter because it's so handy to be able to constantly adjust speed to the job but the down side is now with a left hand cut I am getting trouble with my leg from having my foot to the right and twisting to the left IYSWIM.
So my question is has any one come up with a way of movint the pedal to the left, thinking along the lines of a linkage clamped on the the pedal with a second pedal on the end, or even maybe unbolting the pedal and making a wiring extension and rebolting it to the other side but that would be a big faff if even possible so wanting a simple soloution.
I keep giving up on pedal mode and using the stick as per normal but it's horrible when so used to pedal mode and very quickly go back to pedal mode and so hence the question !

The pedal is just a potentiometer, ideally you could do with a 2nd pedal, you’d need to unplug the other or have some nifty wiring to swap between them, personally I’d go back to right hand cutting,I prefer it.

Is it worth getting used to using it in stick mode? Set pto speed on PTO cruise, then throttle wide open, wind speed of segment 1 down to say 8 or 9k and use the stick like a variator on a combine? The stick at least swivels with the seat

I’m sure I’ve seen it done before, it was a round bar running across to the new pedal
On our T7 I drive it with the stick, and because my seat is twisted I push and pull the stick with my little finger while steering. I use the pedal sometimes but you have less control as it seems so far away
