Movement Licence meeting someone halfway

Sold some sheep and part of the deal is taking them halfway as it’s a fair trek. How do you do the movement licence?
I assume it just classed as 1 long journey but with swap of vehicle halfway.

I'd write the vehicle details for the second vehicle and the journey time expended in both vehicles

Not saying it's right, but I suspect many people would complete AML1 as though they had delivered them all the way.
Could be a case of questions lead to ever more questions.
I once asked Trading Standards how I should record the disposal of offal from lambs I did myself, for our own freezer....

On arams I have to leave the vehicle reg no blank, if I put a reg no in it wont process the movement, phoned them about it years ago and they said "oh yes it's a glitch we need to fix, just leave the reg no blank" They still haven't fixed it so they've never had a vehicle reg no for us. Is this just a glitch with a programme we are accessing arams through ? or is everyone having to leave it blank ? Whole thing is a joke.

It must be legal so there should be a correct way to record the move. You might need a licence for each vehicle or something daft. Asking a haulier or your local friendly market might be worth a try.
