Moving from woodpellet to chip

I’ve currently got 4x Passat HO biomass boilers on woodpellet, I’m looking to move to chip. They have currently got Collison silos feeding them, has anybody done this in the past? They are sat in pairs but not that simple to change storage bins as they have got other things close by, gas tanks, underground tanks.

The issue I’ve got is, I’ve got engineers to service them and get spare parts through, but I don’t really know who to approach about doing this, to advise on best way to alter the feed system and storage. A company that will fit it and not just go into liquidation as soon as they fit it.

We have 2x 200kw ho boilers running on chip. Had them set up from the start for chip. There in 40ft containers with hopper n roller door to tip chip into.

I will send some pictures over tomorrow it's all with in the shipping container
I see, yeh mine are in a shipping container, but no room for a storage area in it, I wish I’d have put more thought into it when I installed them, but it was all done in a rush.
Do you burn virgin chip?

Have you had a word with Passat. They do boilers that run both on woodchip and woodpellet but to me the HO looks to be a woodpellet specific model.

We was told it would run on straw but took us 2 years just to get a quote for it to be set up on straw and on the quote it said the warranty would be void while running on straw. ?
