So a new thread ,,,,, and so it's time for me to try and move on and look at the positives in my life .
One big positive has been my weight loss , as of this morning I'm 3 pounds away from losing 3 stone and I'm chuffed to bits ,
So when I get to 3 stone I will tip the scales at 18 stone 3 1/2 pounds ,,,,,, so where to from here ,,,,,, maybe 15 stone , my fatty club leader reckons I'm probably better to aim at 15 stone 7 pounds but time will tell

So what's the point of this thread , well I know that the next 2 and a bit stone loss will be bloody hard work and I will need some help and motivation to do it ,,, it might also be a journey that takes many months to complete but I will do my best . As some of you know my eldest daughter was born with " complete heart block " , with the care and treatment she received she is a very active hard working girl , so our family have always supported the British Heart Foundation , she herself takes part in the London to Reading charity bike ride every year as her way of saying thank you but I also want to say thank you

So when I start getting close to my target weight I will set up a just giving page so i can see if I can raise a few quid

I've also been humbled by your support over the last difficult month ,,,, please try and support me over the next months

    Thank you
Mark ,,,,,,, AKA Mr trying to find his charisma again

Have a look at the ketogentic diet, it’s not for everyone, I don’t follow it very well just more of a low carb diet and it keeps me thin

I'm on a very low carb diet at the moment , 1 piece of toast in the morning and that is usually it , only had potato three times in the five weeks I've been dieting

Sack off the toast for breakfast and it will help
Bread is the worst way to set up your digestive system for the day

  10. I lost two stones in one day.

Do you not feel unwell or lacking energy eating so little in morning.

I know this might not work for you but I have been replacing meals with stuff called Huel It's working for me anyway so might be worth a shot (you'll have to ignore the marketing its basically oat and pea protein, vanilla favour a bit of sugar and a mineral lick shaved into it). https://uk.huel.com/

There’s lots of diets out there. Each body has a different metabolism for them all to react differently to them and then you add in the persons preferences...

I like the idea of keto. But not as much as I like carbs :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

An intriguing one I’ve read of lately is 100% meat. No carbs, no veggies, no fruit... just meat and some dairy. And spices to taste.

Personally I don’t like the idea of having to buy “special” diet things. Our bodies were made for food, why do they need something specialized to eat? There’s enough whole food options available that some pre packaged mash up shouldn’t be necessary.

Good luck on your continued loss Mr Charisma! Losing weight should help prove that losing something isn’t always a bad thing :)

Going away in a tractor all days a good way to restrict diet! Can only eat what you've got in box.

Plenty fluids keeps you full. Oatcakes instead of crisps and chocolate biscuits. Slow energy release and keep you full. Decent fruit is really tasty.

Sugar addiction is horrible. Must be like coming off drugs. I'm on it at moment but feel much better when I stop. Come in at night in some horrible humours because my brain is craving it.

Caffeine another vice, but seems to restrict appetite.

I'm a fat barsteward so don't know why I'm giving dietary advice. But interested in how body works and affect diet has on your way of thinking.

When you get off the sugar train it makes you realise how much sugar is around, stop at a fuel station for a snack and everything is pure sugar!
