Mowing grass 2013

Was washing down the mower today as we haven't had a chance to since last year. Made me look forward to this forthcoming grass season, personally one of my favourite jobs. Thought I would throw these photos up on here as there's one particularly artsy shot with the sun beaming through the cab glass that I thought others might like too. I hope these don't come out too large as this is my first time posting photos on here.

How do you find the fastrac shuttle on the loader !?

No problems to be honest. The 'P Tronic' joystick that operates the gear ranges also operates forwards and reverse, no need for using the clutch and so it's a relatively straight forward job. I should say though that we only really use the loader for loading up bales infield (14 miles from home) so it's not like there are any buildings or objects to get into a muddle with. You do need to concentrate though as if you hit the brakes too hard as you approach the trailer with a bale then you can end up with your face against the windscreen! Sharp brakes plus extra weight of a lifted bale on the front. Also the 3000 range doesn't have four-wheel steer so manoeuvrability is poor at best. Hope that was what you meant.

Ok. I assumed it was a 2155 or 70. That doesn't sound so bad!

good pictures. Nice to see some grass cut. Can almost smell it!
