MS outlook calendar on to android phone ?

I have MS office 365 account and use outlook for my email that works great on my phone a PC and laptop syncing them all.
my phone has samsung calendar function that works good but wont sync to pc or laptop , outlook has a great calendar function but i can't see anyway to get it to work on my phone, one synced calendar function would be nice to have but how ?

Is it possible to use outlook calendar on my android Phone ??? or my samsung android calendar on my PC ?

My email address is hosted by 123reg and the outlook email syncs through 123 reg , I assume that i am probably missing a server to host the data base for outlook calendar to get the pc and laptop syncing but even if i got that would the phone work outlook calendar the outlook program for the phone is completely different to a pc version.

any suggestions appreciated

Use the Outlook app from the play store, add your Office365 account in there and all emails and calendar will be available there. And forget the built in samsung apps

Thanks that might do it the samsung calendar is already synced to the google one so syncing outlook with google should get around it.


thanks for you help @walesfarmer I found that "add account button" in outlook but for some reason it wont link with 365 for calendar i think my 365 account is personal one not a business one that may be the reason as "business account" seems to be referenced allot in the FAQ of how to do it

Slightly off topic. Samsung phone. Do you no how I can read emails / keep on longer on phone . All on pc but on phone only on for a day then gone. Can't see a way of making them permanent as folders aren't linked

Open email. Tap the three line icon in top left corner to access menu

tap the setting icon in top right corner to access setting menu

Under accounts tap the email address that you want to edit so bomber_harris@bombs_away.com for example (yes I just made that up)

Under Sync setting change the 'Email sync period' from 1 day to whatever is your choice

job done
