That is a very old established firm.I had a quote for a baler in the autumn,it was absolutely miles away from the other quotes for very similar machines, didnt seem right at the time.Understandable now.

My guess is that there will be massive shake up in farming with businesses and people going out of business in the next two years...
May get rid of some of the poorer dealers leaving more professional outfits but will that bring higher costs for us ?

Can’t see anyone would want to move in there the rent would be a lot for such a prime spot that’ll be a multi national business put a premises there not a local AG dealer
Depends how keen the landlord is to see agriculture continuing in the town.

Given their connection to agriculture over the years it maybe a pleasant surprise!

I can remember when they first opened a depot at Ermington in South Devon.

Had a knock on the front door at about ten o'clock one night and there was the Depot Manager (can't remember his name) with a tractor part we had ordered over the phone that afternoon. "thought you might be in a hurry for this so I fetched it from Tiverton for you"

Don't get service like that these days.

Sales Rep was called Charlie Hoyle, I think- a real "Massey Ferguson" man.
