Hi. I have an older Lawnflite 930 ride on mower.
The cutting deck belt snapped and I am ready to fit a new belt. But am finding it hard to find instructions.
Could anyone help me? Do I need to remove the deck or can it be done from just lowering the deck?
i really appreciate any replies.
Many thanks-Lawrence

Up to you i would remove deck, blades and bearings can then be checked along with pulleys you may well find that one of the pulleys has a belt guide which will require support bolt to be slackened, also if you have two belt guides near eng pulley slacken off before fitting new belt don't just bend out of way they are meant to keep belt around pulley..

If you're in a hurry take the deck off. if you're not in a hurry and you don't mind knocking skin off your knuckles then leave it on. been there done that. done a few for customers, practice makes perfect. have you got a kevlar belt there worth the extra?
