its not rear discharge is it but the price may decided itWest dual 1300 any interest? You could collect that Harvey frost crane at the same time [emoji5]
What's so good about rear discharge.? I have never used one and not trying to pick fault etcits not rear discharge is it but the price may decided it
i prefere to pull the muck into the beaters rather than start up with the muck on the chains especially on the heavier ones plus the flinging is further away from the tractor so not as messy its just what I'm used too i don't like the idea of starting the pto with that kind of load on itWhat's so good about rear discharge.? A west has a slurry door so the poop isn't against the beaters just the auger you start up with poop against. And if the olde jd ain't upto the job.........i prefere to pull the muck into the beaters rather than start up with the muck on the chains especially on the heavier ones plus the flinging is further away from the tractor so not as messy its just what I'm used too i don't like the idea of starting the pto with that kind of load on it

I have no doubt that buying new to shift a lot of muck a rear discharge would be the way to go. But a cheap budget well used machine to just do own work I would think a rota spreader would be the way to go. They are not hard to drive and not hard on pto unless not filled correctlyif you want a bit of entertainment start a thread which is best
i suppose i haven't seen one up close but it looks like i may be able to get another season or two out of mine now thanks to @Dave WWould a marshal rear discharge be any good? Plenty about cheap and no chains to worry about..
