I would rise above this, but let me say this, you know nothing about me or my circumstances and have no basis whatsoever for such a statement.

We have Welsh mules. The Beulah is an awful sheep, but she produces a better shaped more compact ewe than sticks on stilts Swales or all horns and wool Blackies. As culls they don’t come close to the Texels but they still sell from £70 - high 90s. The last culls we took the mules made £86 and the Texels £98

Secondly we use them as embryo recipients so we buy good ones and they’re given an armchair ride. Anything that goes from here to the culls is big enough and fit enough.

So, with the greatest of respect, you can f**k right off...

If you can get £80 for ten year old ewes they must get a very good armchair ride
