Anyone else having problems moving to mills? Was told this morning mills have stopped taking it due to low sulphur levels causing baking problems. Fine on all the other tests 350 hag, 15 protein, no ergot, DON/ZON all fine etc etc

Im sure I heard about 2 years ago Ranks had said they wouldnt take Mulika anymore...but didnt hear any expanation why. It still remains on the Recommended List as the only Group 1 spring wheat variety ?? Doesnt seem to make sense if a leading NABIM member says they dont want it when the latest 2020-2021 AHDB Recommended List recommends it as a Group 1. Mixed messages......I suppose ours is not reason why ! I suppose Ranks are only one NABIM member but the others will take it.....

Sent 4 loads week ago and didnt hear a peep re that but guess if you're busy importing German wheat like it's going out of fashion then I guess it pays to knock current British offerings. The tide will turn soon enough as soon as imports dry up or they are "tariff'd" out the market
