Multi Breed Spring Sale Newark

It is that time of year again!!. Saturday March the 21st is when both Pedigree and Commercial men have a good chance of picking a good Lincoln Red bull for there herd. The Lincoln is very underrated animal that will convert forage into saleable meat. The breed will cross well with any breed and the subsequent heifers will produce excellent calves put to any bull. I do believe the commercial cattle breeder is missing a trick by not using a Lincoln Bull in changing times. There will be a large choice of Bulls from the Lincoln Red and at least 2 other breeds. @JP1

Thanks again for that @JP1 Commercial chaps will have a wide choice of High Health, High Quality Cattle. We should know later today what is Happening and I will endeavour to keep people posted. The sale may end up in a lovely part of Lincolnshire and I hope you could come up and have a look!! 26 Bulls on offer gives commercial men a good chance of picking up a cracking bull. Look forward to meeting and talking to a lot of commercial men at the sale!!

I have just heard that the sale of Lincoln Red Cattle will take place at Louth Livestock Market on the 21st March. There will be a show at 10.00am and the Sale will commence at 12.30pm. Why not make a day of it and see a fabulous Market town. The only one left in Lincolnshire.

@Henarar You are right! Factor in an hour from most of the Major roads. Newark and Melton had a major advantage sat on the side of major routes. Still Louth is a super little market town with several independent shops and some very good butchers and bakers to attract the rest of the family while the men or women do there business. (May be an advantage in coming weeks!!)
