Partly yes.
Been looking to go back to self propelled and want mechanical drive.

Missed out on a beauty this week.

Have a couple on the radar this next week.

All come about by trying to drill and spray with one tractor in the autumn and spray timings are slipping.

Quite taken by the fc version.

Anyone running one of the above, specifically the forward control version with a Chafer spray pack? The good, the bad and the ugly please.

The Multidrives have their quirks but I've always thought they're less under strain with a sprayer body on than a spreader. Ours has gone places this season that many other machines wouldn't and not been stuck.

Nothing really on the market to replace the multi-drive we run two and find them pretty capable machines for us servicing and maintenance is straightforward mostly parts mostly available from hyd suppliers and drivetrain components from Dana spicer suppliers John Deere engine obviously from dealers. Road speed is a big plus for us and stability is second to none

Old RB25 would work surely. What's wrong with hydrostatic drive? Roadwork?
Buy another tractor and keep the sprayer hooked up? Guess old S/P is cheaper.
As you know I’ve spent thousands of hours in a Bateman cab, budget doesn’t buy much of a Bateman but on the face of it, it buys a lot of multidrive.

Mechanical drive for the dual carriage way to Top Farm and simplicity.

Thought long and hard about a second tractor and keep the trailed, but, it is harder in a wet autumn to find spray windows with it, six wheels rather than four coming out onto the road hasn’t been great at times. I also know the one time I need the sprayer in a hurry the father in law will have dropped it off to do something vital!
New spreader is in the budget for next year, will drop that and go back to liquid too.
Back to an SP.

You could mount the fert spreader on the multidrive as well. Will practically walk on water
