Not sure about "liking this comment Pete" ,,,,, but you are probably right paintwork on a lot of new stuff leaves a bit to be desired nowadays.Mine will want respraying in about 5 and twenty minutes.
Yes @Shovelhands a fair bit of graft but as you say I was wanting a specific machine and hopefully I am pretty much there with this one, besides it was an enjoyable project to do and now it's making money for me so what's not to like!!!!Nice work, some proper graft and hours spent there
Looks a fantastic machine and nothing quite like getting EXACTLY what you want
Don,t be mentioning "out of the factory" @Bumble Bee poor @Cab-over Pete will be cryingYou've made a right job of that @Zebbedee. Looks better than they come out of the factory!
Small world I almost bought your old booms from Gary, but decided I really wanted the vg type booms as I have them on the sprayer I have and thought I would miss them. The knight booms do seem to be quite good, travel well and fold neatly and quickly. Did you get the oil leak on your axle sorted @hermanLooks absolutely fab @Zebbedee it sure looks like you've gone to town on it .
I had the booms off that fire damaged demount on my 6185 as it had a 15/24 m on it which was a bit un practical . I do think the chafer boom is possibly one of the most heavy duty on the market but I do think the V.G.knight is excellent and less heavy .
