Who makes a trailer that’s dual use as a dumper and grain trailer?

Thinking along the lines of a square body (not traditional dumper style), hydraulic tailgate that won’t open unless the body is tipped slightly, 650 tyres, air and oil brakes, rollover sheet.

It hold 14 + tonnes of wheat but rated as a 20t dumper? Would need thicker steel in the floor than a normal grain trailer, maybe Hardox?

Possibly uses greedy boards to go from ‘dumper’ mode to ‘grain’ mode? Would prefer shorter and taller due to some low sheds, rather than long and low.

hard to see in picture but 12ton grain / 15 tonne drop side. No hyd door though. I think any bigger as a dual purpose will get too expensive and safer going for two lower spec trailers. It’s 6mm floor and more runners as standard and larger rams

I bought a Bailey ct20 with grain side extensions the exact size your asking. It did not turn up in time for harvest though I did fill it with wheat for when mobile seed cleaner came. Have started hauling some hardcore with it and so far very pleased with it.

I had the same idea a couple of years ago, made by AW trailers, the greedy boards come off to leave a really good dump/rubble trailer.

It holds easily 20t of stone but only about 10t of grain and if I were ordering again I’d buy two separate trailers even if that meant secondhand

As above, I would have thought there would be a pretty stiff compromise if you wanted to use one trailer for both jobs.

You can't, if you tip stone/rocks in an average grain trailer you will soon beat the floor of them to bits. They aren't designed for it.

In fact, the tip geometry and volume of grain trailers can be wrong for dirt/rocks as well because you can fill them right up with stuff and find they won't tip up properly.

We are moving about 2000t of rubble per year which isn’t a lot really and equates to about 2 loads per week. Presently paying a landscape contractor to do it as it fits in with him working from our yard in a unit, but thinking if we could find a dual purpose one then we could do it ourselves whilst also using it for grain
