couple of pictures of us building our shed that Phil @PDRD made for us
picture of our pit before we started, the total cover is 90ft long and 45ft wide, we are going to fill the gap in between 2 buildings

on the 1 side we had some 10ft subs made to give us some height, so we'll be 18ft to the eaves

managed to timber the 1st two bays using the telehandler and basket but the rest were a bugger, we had to resort to lifting 1 at a time with the digger, was getting pretty good at placing them by the last bay!

@PDRD made the apex off set as we wanted to keep the height above the silage pit

one of the sheds we was going off was stepped back a bay so we had to put and extra post at the front , we had a 2nd hand length of valley guttering in stock that we manage to cobble up into the existing valley guttering, it was a different profile but we made it fit!

Looks like a good shed, good advert for Phils sheds. Will you stack the straw onto the clamp (rather than tyres) to hold the sheet, to maximise the new shed, and free up the one next door?

yeah we will hopefully next year, its was our last pit with tyres on, hate the bloody things. its our 1st year we've been able to keep the maize in a seperate pit from the grass.
was really pleased with the building, and how well it fitted
