All our sheds are 90ft long so 20mm of fall per bay is nothing, but over say a 300ft long shed i can see if might cause few more problems.
The only reason we put fall on is to keep the steel gutters dry and stop them from rotting. you couldnt achieve this on a level building.
If a shed was level and you used plastic guttering and steeped it as you went as memtioned in a previous post, over a longish shed you would run out of room to fix to timber , and also when you came to clad it down there wouldn't be enough room to fix sheets/boards.
All i no is it works for us

Do you have to step the cladding down 20mm per bay aswell?

We just push the boards up tight to the guttering keeping the top level then hopefully if the boards are all exactly the same they hang to where they come to. You'd b pretty keen to spot a shed out of level 120mm over 90ft length. My previous pictures of the Yorkshire boading is dropping 40mm over 2 bays using the same length of board, then due to the floor also falling and the walls falling we had to step the boards to a longer length, so each 2 bays are 40mm fall! Hope that makes sense!

Yeah Cheers Phil. Still waiting for you to sharpen your pencil a bit harder!
We've always put the pins in 1st, and then take levels making each post different according to that hole, we do this because we never hsve a level site tk start with. Im gonna have to make you earn your money somehow @PDRD !

The shed were working on at the moment has 44 posts and everyone is a different length, no point making it too easy for the steel guys:sneaky:

Fair play, that is some project by the looks, makes mine look like a chicken hutch!
Do you have any fall on the posts for thd guttering? Seems like im in the minority for having the sheds falling slightly!
All our posts are usually numbered according to a specific hole, i agree having them all different tests them, a good chance to get the cobwebs off the old laser level!

No the guttering is in level, I'd never heard of having a shed on a fall before but it makes sense, got one to make and put up for a friend and thinking putting it on a run will be easier now.

Yeah they all come lettered and numbered A1 to I 16, just need to remember and hold the plan the right way

Probly wouldn't be easy having fall on a shed as long as yours, youve probly got several outlets on each run.
Having fall works for us on our 90ft runs!

Might have helped with the amount of stone needed, theres 4 outlets on one side and currently 3 on the other, think the digger driver missed a pipe out:whistle:
