my wind turbine project

I would be absolutely gutted if a turbine was stopped waiting for attention!!! It is the windiest time of year. I have real concerns that endurance and many other small manufacturers are going to pull the plug or at least offer absolutely extortionate o&m contracts

Good luck
The machine was just switched on today did you're enercon run perfect from day 1. No their maintenance contracts are fine

if you click on the code does it tell you anything?
Not really this code is sd601 and it says current asymmetry? the other code was sd 23 I think
You can't do anything about codes it just lets the technicians know what the problem is. You won't be able to do anything to the machine just sit and watch it will take several weeks to get any turbine going without faults they will need to tweek the settings
I thought as much there's bound to be a few teething problems just a shame that its on a nice wind day like this

We had a few problems with our turbine from day 1,most are fixed remotely from the netherlands, settling down now but nothing worse than not turning when the winds up.Decent day here until around 5pm then wind dropped, still done 7000kw's so far today though.

It still amazes me how they can alter/reset these machines from anywhere in the world. The wind dropped here about 7pm let it cool down a bit

Cant help but feel after the talks in paris there could end up being a u turn with these fits.
If the government are committed to climate change then we'll end up with something

was told yesterday but asked to keep it quite until they had spoke to all employees does this effect you @Princess Pooper
We own our turbine so at least that is straightforward. We haven't had any Fits yet but Luke answered what he thought was the last query from Ofgem about 3 weeks ago, so hopefully that will be OK. Not sure well get our first year's annual service visit though...

We also can't get on ERIC but presumably Endurance can sort that for us. What about you?

That's not good form, telling customers before they told their employees!

There will be plenty of pi55ed off customers with warranties not worth the paper it's written on now.

Gonna be expensive to get someone else to fix these turbines now.

The warranty is with Endurance not Mosscliff. Endurance see loads of photos of construction stage by stage and the results of the G59 tests before they grant you the warranty. Ours was validated by Endurance about 2 weeks after G59.

When Dulas pulled out of wind a while ago, they handed over my maintenance/warranty work to Natural Generation, but as they're based at the opposite end of the country, Scaled Energy do most of the work but other approved installers have been out as well. Doesn't really seem to matter as it all falls to Endurance. Whilst they're strong, we should all be OK.
