What actually happened to Mosscliff surely they have sold hundreds of turbines and service contracts to go with them surely they could lay off construction staff and be a maintanance buisness as they seemed to be a good company to deal with and really decent directors

Yes they are 50% owners Realise the R part of RM are hoping to take over the Mosscliff part And it maybe that the turbines are owned by the directors on there own I am not sure though But there must be other reasons though ?

This was the direction they were taking the company in - trying to make sure they had enough turbines for a maintenance/service business after the construction boom ended. The owned turbines are set up as separate companies. We had wondered if they had cashflow probs this summer, just a few little hiccups. When you think about it, the amounts of money involved are vast so timing delays on VAT etc can have massive implications.

Any truth in whether or not RM are going to take over Mosscliff?
A friend of mine has a turbine through RM and he's worried what's going to happen with servicing as it was Mosscliff who looked after his machine.

There is an E3120 round here that was shut down for weeks a month or two back.
Endurance Wind Power wouldnt tell the landowner what the trouble was.
From what I hear it had been noisy from the word go but I dont know if its quieter now

They were obviously starting to have problems in the summer, Cos Hse has charges registered, we had some concerns about their cashflow when ours was being built in Sept and that was just when financiers took a new charge out. Suspect overtrading, and then when the 17 Dec Fits announcement came through along with the disappearance of pre-accreditation that was the final straw., Creditors meeting next week when statement of affairs will make it clearer what is in the pot.

No, we're running, but if you are ex-Mosscliff have you got a new monitoring/service agreement in place? If it's not being monitored then I assume Endurance will shut you down.
Not got monitoring/ service contract in place as finalising that next week as had a major shock on that!!!!! With my lost of contract with Mosscliff (already paid in full:() and increase in maintance/ monitoring contract with one quote It could have meant our cost of servicing would have been 3 time's dearer than we were paying for Mosscliff and not in my budget. When in the first year it only done two thirds of estimated power:(.
Certainly trying in current financial climate!!!!

I understand that the solar fit's change may well have nailed them due to some very major purchasing that couldn't be installed.

Do you see who the charges were registered with though? RMCAF1 Limited and Rm Capital Markets Limited - much of a coincidence that they both have the letters RM in the names?

There's been a lot of recent juggling too, with allocations of shares last week in one of the Mosscliff Power Co's and some assets in others having charges satisfied only to be recharged - and not all to RM links- there are other venture capital type funds involved too. Will be interesting to see the statement of affairs.

I've just found this thread, only 4 years out of date! We weld-repair cracks in Endurance bedplates for a fraction of the price of a new one. This is a common fault and we've done over 100 turbines so fa with no recalls over 2 years. If you need our services just let me know!
