We’re just started to get going, bit early but the thinking is at least the crops will have had something in case it turns wet in a couple of weeks when we would usually start.

I usually go by the daffodils but when its as travelable as it im thinking a sprinkling will ease workload going forward .Plus as rainfall has been so low here any help to encourage rooting wont do any harm

Direct drilled barley is looking very pale here. Getting 30 units today, I'm too mean to put on any more at current prices. Wild boar have been digging it up too.
