My 6020 when cold i/e 1st thing in the morning takes around 5 mins to get going, you need to leave it running in the yard before setting off anywhere as it so sluggish...its find once its warmed up,is this normal ?

I occasionally drive a T6010 delta (2009) that doesn't run the best when first fired up.

But I normally let machines have 5-10 minutes to warm up anyways, so don't really notice it struggling on the road.

I have an old NH/Manitou with an FPT engine, that will not open up properly when cold and then suddenly it is though a boost is switched on. Not so noticeable in warmer weather.
Thats Exactly how mine is...feels like something has been switched on....seems its best to give it 5 mins in the yard before going out onto the road

Whilst it should probably give 85% of its all straight away, a 5-10 min warm up at 1000-1200rpm is being mechanically sympathetic- you certainly should not go to 2000rpm+ / high load until the operating temperature is reached anyway.

I think what doesn't help the T6010, is that it never does any hard work and never has done.

It spends its life on a road brush, tidying up after muck away lorries. A hedge cutter for a week of the year and a firewood processor.
