Not sure about recommending one but this one has been nothing but trouble, have to disconnect from battery every now and then as it freezes, more often than not it get stuck on a station name in dab, it changes the station but the names the same, very annoying!

Had all sorts over the past few years. Old Sonys are good, new ones are just junk. Not user friendly to use and I don't think they are up to being in a tractor, they can't seem to stand the extra abuse compared to being in a car. Tried a Kenwood, Bluetooth call quality was very good but it had an awful habit of forgetting my phone was connected and getting stuck in an infinite pairing loop. Also it kept losing its DAB station list and had to find every station every time it was switched on, very annoying. The only radios I've had luck with are Pioneers. I have an older one about 5 years old which has been excellent. Always pairs instantly, great sound quality and easy to use, never had a single problem with it in both vehicles its been in. Only disadvantage is no DAB. I've just upgraded the crappy old Kenwood to this new Pioneer DAB and so far it seems to be just as good as my older one, very good build quality and fairly simple to use:

Don't bother with a CD player unless you use them a lot, they are usually cheaper to buy without one.

Glad it’s not just me that think newer Sony radios are junk! Have two and one turns itself on when left unattended, will run the battery flat. The other the face plate keeps jumping off and it forgets presets. I’ll have to treat myself to something better!
