Can’t tell exactly from the photo but it’s either Fat Hen or Orache

Both similar and same family.

the field had a lot of muck spread on it before ploughing and a very good swedes was the last crop the grass lay and rape was sown 3rd week of may and it has struggled to grow to the last week when it has had a few small rain showers

Its really very nutritious as long as the sheep get in early enough. Very close relation to quinoa or keenwah as the yuppies call it.

as AnGof mentioned it could be orache as its got a serated leaf whereas fat hen or lambs tongue has smooth edges.

You laugh but it is pretty good. About 25% iirc. lambs do well on it
