Seems to be mounted like a fert spinner rather than trailed along the ground like a haybob.Don’t know, but looks to be doing a bloody super job!
Free floating saucers that rotated equals less wearIf I remember correctly, it had saucers underneath just like an old two drum mower. Tines were free floating...just pushed through holes in the tyre..could move back if they hit anything?
I didn't think it was wet like that in the "good old days"?
We owned one of the very first of them designed and built here in NZ back in '91 I think from memory.
Tyres with the tynes were very small compared to the RECO built version.
Possibly only about 6 built and sold here and they were all bought back and money refunded as they were problematic and rather unsuccessful.
Kym is not at Kioti anymore, Its Patrick Desmond (Ex Reco) thats GM at Kioti.Definitely a RECO machine... believe it was called a Rotacon... the little Inter was the yard tractor at Huntingdon for many years.. believe it was being driven by RECO"s chief designer Kym Bannister, lately of Kioti UK
