So,, who has seen nanotechnology before? Would you use it if you could get your hands on it? Looks like it would make life a lot easier/cleaner.
@Clive has had his phone done with it!
my brother has too, he's called Clive too.
I was just thinking the same thing, save on the pressure washingCould it be applied to a whole farm??
Looks great but can cause real problems as well.
In my other life I deal with very high quality paint finishes. Nanotechnology has made its way into sunscreams and the nanotechnology is carrying the suncream deep into the paint to a point where it cannot be resprayed without removing ALL of the paint and some of the substrate ie the structure which needs to be painted and even then its not 100% certain you wont have issues. Acid etches/washes do not touch it.
Dermatologists are becoming concerned about the effects on skin - which has not been fully explored. It is starting to be thought that the nanotechnology is capable of carrying chemicals far deeper into the body than originally intended.
So, great stuff on inanimate objects that will never need refinishing.
Personally, I wont have anything to do with them until a lot more work has been done on them to fully understand what is happening.
