Nasty sheep injury

Everyone else can see the exposed bone right ?

Yes, we can see the exposed bone. But is that necessarily a death sentence? The vets on TV would have it amputated and fitted with a little wheel, running around, showing the viewers how clever and kind they all are to "rescue" the poor sheep! What should be done and what can be done are two different things. I suspect the OP has already done it by now anyway.

We had a donkey get wire round its leg once and had just been pulling at it over night cut down to the bone stuck honey on it every day and new wrap healed up enough within 2 week to take the wrap off and let it dry in the air but been a sheep id imagine that will just die after you have spent the time and effort getting it right as is there usual trick
Honey is amazing for healing wounds. We had a heifer with a wound down to the bone several years ago. The vet recommended Manuka honey alongside the pain relief and anti inflammatory and it was dressed every second or third day. She's a 5th Calver now and you would never know it happened. We routinely use honey on wounds and injuries now.

Salt solution is also good splashed onto the wound every day, or more frequently.

Sure give it a chance, you can always resort to shooting her if doesn’t work.
You probably want her in a shed to keep flies away and look after her properly...
