National Trust tenants

I am a National Trust tenant who’s been given notice to quit and told my FBT will not be extended. I put it out there via a well-known social media farmer and I received numerous contacts from other farmers who have experienced or are still experiencing terrible issues with their landlord the National Trust. To a person every current tenant that has contacted has asked for anonymity, which I have 100% guaranteed. I’m asking on here for anyone past or present who has/is experiencing problems with the National Trust to PM me. I will guarantee your anonymity. I’m trying to build a picture of how widespread this problem really is. Hopefully, we can bring these issues to the wider public.

They should not be allowed to have any control over farmland for either food production or for Conservation.

Two farms next to me have been destroyed for farming after getting tenant out and then just leaving the land empty for 2/3 years. Most of it is now thistles, docks and Ragwort. They have a couple of amateur grazers with small numbers of cattle that just make it worse.
The amount of wildlife has completely plunged as it is now just a home for uncontrolled predators.

That’s exactly what happened on a farm I lived on. Was a good dairy then they took 200 acres of arable off it and didn’t do anything to it after the baler left for 3 years. Never seen such a mess, now they got someone who kisses the “managers” arse at all the meeting with 12 cows to graze it.

With an agenda to desroyAsk @bluepower about the NT 🤦
I am reading this with interest. This is happening all over the country.
The parkland around Killerton House is a sight to behold. I think it is grade 1 listed, full of bramble, thistle and docks with a handful of Highland lawn mowers lurking in the undergrowth. It's a jungle out there.
They think they are above everyone else with an agenda to destroy agriculture on their land. What a shame for the next generation and the farming industry. Probably tick all the boxes for this current government.
