@muleman how do you like those Angus?
Shadwell next to me, there'd be no cow under 1000kg@muleman how do you like those Angus?
I saw cattle very similar to that in Argentina when on honeymoon 17 years since. Not surprising, as a lot of bulls sold at Perth in the 60s went that direction. Beef was excellent too...Very nice arent they, maybe hardly as good as that nowadays and thats 60 yrs since.
@Hilly forgot to tag you in. More hands off Hereford calving here (see above).View attachment 1033986View attachment 1033987View attachment 1033988
Second year calving own cows and first year calving outside, going well so far. These are Traditional Herefords, calves are off a bull bred by @Cowgirl and she will also recognise the heifer in the first pic! Calf in the last photo was born early February.
Cracking lambs! How old are they? Not the brilliant picture it was 15 seconds before I got my phone out of my pocket! Some rather hot, curvy ladies ready for haircuts. We weighed the lambs last week and were very pleased with the weights. I'll sort through them at the end of the month and see IF there's any that I like enough to try and sell pedigree. There's potentially 6 or 8 that I liked so fingers crossed I still like them!
I think the eldest would be about 12 weeks old. That lamb on the right would be one of the younger ones and he'd be about 8 weeks I think. There's 1 tup lamb that I think could be a bit special, he was when he was born at least! The ewes have done them well to be fair to them. The picture doesn't do them justice they looked much smarter before I took my phone out of my pocket!Cracking lambs! How old are they?

Southdowns. Just waiting on the shearer! The old girl in the front always gets looking like a bloody merino before they're shorn! There's some sturdy wenches under that fluff mind!they could do with a haircut what breed are they ?
