Is this a 'spot the lamb' pic? I lose because I really can't see the second one...
If you look closely you can see the legs of the other lamb under the ewe, both lambs were a bit grubby as she had lambed on a mole hill. Find a few do that, don't know why but the lambs can be absolutely covered in mud as mum pushes them round in it

Some impressive Duns about. Is the Jaw Herd still running?

Not very clued up to be honest, we got ours from a chap on the Wirral , he is really in to the Dunn Galloway , even to the extent of importing a bull from Germany to keep the colour
I think ( but can't be certain) the largest herds were in Northumbria but f&m nigh on finished them

4 Dunn 5 black 1 beltie and two whitbred bulls

We sold everything due to wintering costs, ( all bar 2 whitbred bull calves) but then got the Dunn heifers and now the blacks, they should stay out and be a bit cheaper through winter, our old bluey grey calfs used to sell well at Gisburn but were small so not a lot in it, now running 250 sheep and this wee herd, will see how things develop, I should be getting gen blue/grey calfs from these black Galloways
