I know the man in the above video and he is a top operator who had a lucky escape , his helmet saved his life. The family of the young man who died have started to sue Nc as the health and safety have declared the trailer flawed and dangerous.

Same here, never failed to work as it should. I wonder wether the hinge was greased enough in this case?

After watching the video it looks over complicated that design .Looks like it is a sturdy trailer though .Be careful out there folks.

It a a simple design that allows stones get trapped in under the door , if you havnt the experience to know that the back door is under pressure when tipped up but hasn't gone down and see the stone blocking it and try freeing the stone then your taking your life in your own hands without knowing it.

Yeah I know someone died!
But don't blame the trailer, blame the person who sent an untrained person off on an unfamiliar piece of equipment.
