One of the biggest pleasures I've had that's come out of this covid thing, was the guy who rung into a show on LBC Radio, bawling his eyes out because all the panic buyers were buying and clearing the shelves of HIS vegan and vegetarian products.
Had me in stitches how he protested.

That's quite funny.
I have seen other posts that suggest the opposite though (could be made up obviously) that a lot of vegan foods were left on the shelves.
Even in a crisis no one wants it.
Not sure which I like the most :finger:

I find the best thing to do (and I really struggle to do it) is let them speak whilst you listen intently focusing on their every word. If they pause, say nothing, they start up again. This will happen several times because they just can’t help spouting forth.
After a while and another pause they will ask why you have nothing to say. Just walk away, not a word. At this point they often can’t help themselves but throw in an insult to either you or the subject you support. At that point you have won and you haven’t even spoken a word.
Works in all manner of situations.
