Ask your solicitor or bank manager for their recommendations, they will deal with a few so will have a good idea.

Tip though, don't go for a one-man band, no backup in case of sickness etc.

We moved to the Barker Partnership,they have a few offices around north Yorkshire. David Thomas at the Harrogate branch looks after us and we are very happy with him so far. He knows farming, and charges a lot less than the previous lot.

In 20 years it'll probably all be exported and carried out by people halfway round the globe.

Office workers have been able to work safely and at full pay from home during the pandemic because their job is mobile, compared to a furloughed hands-on worker. I haven’t seen my accountant in 6 years. Everything done online, extremely efficient and very reasonably priced. Plate glassed offices come at a price, and they’re not even being used at the moment!

people thought spreadsheets and computers would see a decline in accountants, but it was the opposite they made the job more efficient and cheaper To provide, leading to an increase in accountants
