I thought Feb meeting was 6 it might be 10 points . I will check tomorrow.Do you have any NRoSO workshops in your area coming up in the next few days? 10 points in 1 go.
If you are a member of SQC (Scottish Quality Crops) Which you have to be if you sell grain,OSR ect Then the person spraying those crops must be registered with nroso .Do points mean prizes?
I did my sprayer tests about a year ago and although NRoSO was mentioned, I don't recall it being compulsory to either join NRoSO or gain self improvement points. Perhaps someone could enlighten the ignorant as to why the urgency to gain points?

Think you can get 3 for standing next to the spray tester. Thanks for replies. Got my TFF and agronomist ones.
Can I get some for attending sprayer MOT?
What a crock of sh!t. I only want to spray a few acres of docks every few years and some roundup on headlands before ploughing to re-seed. It truly isn't rocket science. Any idiot can buy the stuff I use in Tesco's albeit diluted.Same with Red Tractor.
We don't have to pay a pesticide tax, due to G.Brown's benificence, we then get Gov't dole money foisted on us. The least we can do to demonstrate our gratitude is reassure the public that we are responsible sprayer operators by getting Nroso points, and proving that our sprayers are tip-top condition by paying for an annual test. There will not then be any nasty food scares to worry about.
So the story goes.
Don't shoot the messenger, I'm only helping you to understand why this "crock of sh!t" exists....
